Your Health Account
You can compare your health to a bank account. Just like you make bank deposits and withdrawals, you can do the same for your health. You make health deposits by working out, resting, eating well, not smoking, managing your stress effectively, journalling, and even going for a brisk walk around the neighborhood.
You make health withdrawals by leading a sedentary lifestyle, eating a large pepperoni pizza, smoking or using recreational drugs, not getting enough sleep, spending too much time in front of the television or computer, and burning the candle at both ends.
Focus this week on increasing the balance in your health account. See if you can make at least one deposit every single day. That way, if you make a withdrawal occasionally, at least you won't run the risk of going into overdraft and dealing with a health crisis!
