Here is what I eat on a regular basis to stay Lean.
I can never get over the fact that someone would hire an overweight personal trainer to lose weight.
That's like getting a homeless man to do your finances. It just doesn't make sense to me.
As a trainer, how can you truly motivate someone when you can't even motivate yourself. I think this is totally embarrassing and I say drop the fork and lift some iron.
It's like parents that smoke and try to tell their kids not to smoke. It's just bad leadership all together.
Trainers are hired to do 2 things; to teach and to motivate. And the more skilled the trainer becomes at these two things, the busier he or she will be. In fact, I will even go as far to say that being able to motivate people is the number one factor in having success with a client.
To counteract this epidemic of overweight, out of shape trainers that keep sending me their resumes, all the trainers at our club not only go through a theory test but they also go through a physical test of overall fitness and their body fat must be at a certain level to show overall performance.
