Choose your personal trainer carefully!

The relationship with your trainer is the most important factor in achieving your goal. It’s not that we know something that other trainers don’t know, it’s not the books we read or the seminars that we attend that make our clients get the results they set out for. There is no other reason why we at FFF have a 96% success rate other than this;

We make your goal, our goal and lead by example.

People get caught up in what we call the “fun factor”. They pick a club or some circuit training program because they think it will be fun. Listen! Change your mind set, exercise is never fun when your fat and out of shape, the faster you get over this wall the more we can move to getting you lean and in the best shape of your life and once you are there then we can think about making it fun.

So what makes a great trainer?

The real trainers are always working. By this I mean, as a trainer you must look the part even when you are not at the gym. I don’t mean never having a drink or bad food when you go out for supper but look the part and make sure to explain that the difference between you and your client is that you have been religious to healthy eating for years so you can afford to eat bad 10% of the time and it doesn’t even effect your progress in fact it helps it. The trick is you make them realize that they must put in the time and one day they will be able to do the same.

Here is an obvious tip. Hiring a FAT trainer to make you lean is like hiring a homeless man to show you how to make money. Don’t do it.

This may seem rude but it’s just a fact. There might be fat trainers out there that are good but if they can’t motivate themselves, how are they suppose to motivate you.

Every time I travel and go to these big commercial fitness clubs and can’t help but notice fat trainers helping fat clients lose weight. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

As a trainer, you must lead the field and stop at nothing to get your client to reach their goals, your reputation is on the line with every new client. It’s a war, they walked in the gym for a reason and it’s your job to get them there no matter what there obstacles.
