Sound familiar? This is the most discouraging time when somebody is trying to attain their weight loss goal and it is also a time that people often quit. I hate when people quit!
While I do think the weigh scale is a good general tool to measure weight loss, you simply have to be careful not to get discouraged by the number because people that exercise will build more muscle and retain more fluid in the muscle. Weight loss should be progressive but at times it has a delayed effect. A better option is to get your body fat tested with calipers and tape measurements every four weeks.

Rules
1. Eliminate wheat, milk, cheese, sugar, peanuts, soy, eggs, corn, grains, sweeteners and protein bars
Why? Most people can not tolerate some of these foods and without even knowing it, it will cause your weight loss to stall. (If you can’t cut all of the above foods out of your diet, at least cut out the wheat and sugar).
Tip: If you decide to reintegrate them in your diet be aware how each one makes you feel.
2. Have a good quality multivitamin.
Why? Not getting enough of the right vitamins can interfere with your energy cycle which will cause weight loss to stall.
3. Eat protein at every meal, such as fish, poultry, beef or other meats.
Why? Meat takes longer to digest which in turn increases your metabolism
4. Lower your carbohydrate intake such as starchy vegetables, breads, rice, pasta and sugar.
Why? If your carbohydrates are to high, your body will be using glucose as its primary energy source instead of your unwanted body fat.
5. Drink at least 10 glasses of water a day.
Why? Not drinking enough water makes your kidneys work harder wich also makes the liver (the fat burning machine) work overtime taking the attention off of its big job which is burning fat.
