Explosive endurance is important in many sports such as long distance running, mma, wrestling, hockey, soccer and many more. I'ts important that you realize what type of contraction your sport is using for each muscle group. For example a mixed martial artist can have 3- 5min rounds of non stop striking, takedowns or/and defending takedowns. All of these movements demand a high capacity of explosive endurance and should be worked at the right time before your season/fight/game or race.
