Are You Fit To Lead?

Imagine a dentist with bad teeth?
Imagine a poor financial advisor?
Imagine a dance teacher that can’t dance?

Would you trust their advice?
Would you be inspired by them?
Would you pay for their service?

I know I wouldn’t.

I’m a coach, that’s who I am.
I’m not a coach from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm but 24/7 365 days a year.

(Watch this video to know what’s in your hand. but first keep reading)

Knowing who I am has given me a lens to see others that may not quite know who they are yet.
It’s made me realize the noise that happens in the fitness industry from people that
can’t even take their own advice.

What I’m really talking about are people that teach other people how to be healthy yet they are the same people that you catch at Starbucks everyday eating a muffin not acknowledging their client that walks in the door. Or the people that write article after article about how to lose body fat yet can’t do it themselves.

I understand that no one is a saint all the time (I’m surely not) but in a world where actions speak louder than words you need to truly believe in who you are, what you’ve been put on earth to do and what you stand for. This will give you the self discipline and determination to stick by your values. Only then, will you gain trust and inspire and only then will people pay for what you do. But funny thing is that last point won’t matter as much.

What’s in your hand? (watch the video)
